7 Lamps of Architecture

Okay, here's a bit of facts that might be interested by any prinnies who likes architecture such as me .

Do you know the nasyeed song titled Fatamorgana by Hijjaz? Here's part of the lyrics:

Same to architecture, a person needs guidance to design a good building .

Sacrifice - architecture is beyond a building
Truth - clarity with no hidden parts
Power - strength through simplicity
Beauty - inspiration from nature
Life - human touch for human
Memory - everlasting through time
Obedience - traditional unversality vs new styles



*the 7 Lamps of Architecture was actually the philosophies introduced by John Ruskin from the Arts & Craft Movement during 1880-1910, but should be applied on today's design.
